Meet Everitt – The Person Behind High Desert Dog Care

Hi, I'm Everitt, the owner and founder of High Desert Dog Care.

Animals have been a major part of my professional life, and caring for them is something I take seriously. I have a bachelor's degree in Animal Care and Behavior, along with five years of experience managing an animal shelter. During that time, I worked hands-on with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. From energetic puppies and nervous rescues to senior dogs needing extra patience and attention, I've learned that no two dogs are alike, and their care shouldn't be either.

My experience goes far beyond simply feeding, walking, or supervising dogs. It includes understanding canine behavior, recognizing signs of stress and discomfort, working with dogs that have behavioral challenges, maintaining safe environments, and helping animals build confidence and trust.

Why I Started High Desert Dog Care

After years of working in animal care, I wanted to create something different. I wanted to take my education, professional experience, and love for working with dogs and build a business where personal attention, dependable service, and customer relationships come first.

That's how High Desert Dog Care began.

I believe professional dog care should be about more than just providing a service. It should be about building trust, understanding each dog's individual needs, and making life easier for the people who love them.

I'm not interested in building a business around social media popularity, appearances, or the latest trends. I'd rather build a reputation through hard work, honest communication, quality care, and customers who feel confident recommending my services to their friends and neighbors.

A Personal Approach to Dog Care

When you choose High Desert Dog Care, you're not just another appointment on a calendar. You're trusting someone with an important member of your family, and I understand the responsibility that comes with that.

Whether your dog needs grooming, boarding, training, daycare, walking, or just a little extra attention during a busy day, my goal is to provide the same patience, respect, and dependable care that I would want for my own dogs.

I also believe customer service matters just as much as the care itself. That means being approachable, listening to your concerns, answering questions honestly, and working with you to find solutions that make sense for your dog and your situation.

Locally Owned. Personally Operated. Built on Experience.

High Desert Dog Care proudly serves Prescott Valley, Prescott, Chino Valley, and surrounding communities.

As a locally owned small business, I'm committed to earning the trust of my neighbors, one dog and one customer at a time. I want people to know who they're trusting with their pets and feel comfortable reaching out whenever they need help.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: happy dogs, satisfied customers, and lasting relationships built on trust.
